Sued My Parents For Their Carelessness Towards Me
I’m a 15-year-old boy, Tomás, who just sued his own VERY NICE parents! It really was pretty simple and easy.
I did it because as I was returning home from school, a bunch of street boys were. And we got into a little fight. I pushed them and ran to my home and complained to my parents. This had happened a couple of times now. And each time they said they’ll do something about it but didn’t. So I waited, and then I went to the local court. I showed the lawyer my marks from that fight and told him that my parents were alcoholic and they did this to me. I had tears in my eyes the whole time.
Whatever I told the lawyer isn’t true, as my parents are ‘nice’ people. My dad’s a banker and my mom’s an amazing school teacher. But what is true is that they don’t take care of me as they should. My safety is their responsibility and they should be perfect at it. I feel like it’s their carelessness that has let the fight happen twice.
Well, they have now got a restraining order and are not allowed to come anywhere near me.
They don’t even know about it yet.
